Hey, I just realised that you bought that Alpina that you were looking at a while ago! Congrats! I went back and took a look at the pics and read the thread again and I think that I was kind of a dick about it:rolleyes - most of the stuff I fussed about was minute shit- especially compared to the car as a whole. WOW that is one nice car, esp. with that color! You gotta be finding excuses to drive it all the time! Good luck with it and post some pics after you give it that 'new owner' detail! :cool

haha i didn't kill my aunt's car, the jeep is fine, i still drive it.

actually all the lights are still intact, just not the housings/lenses

just needs a fender, hood, lights (head,corner,signal) and a bumper cover...


got quoted for $225 for the parts from the local junkyard, Lake Auto, they even bring the car OUT of the yard via forklift for you to work on, then when you're done bring it back in!


and yes, i found an AWESOME alpine 95 m3 that i'll be officially purchasing next week...

I bought it that morning with a bottle of water at stewarts in troy, and that accident happened...

it sat in my room until i threw it in the jeep the saturday morning when the karma bee flew in my window and i ran the jeep into a parked car...so jokingly i told my friend/coworker zach about it, so he puts it in his car...three blocks from his house his motor which has never shown any signs of imminent failureand only 110k miles, grenades.
