Hi Guys I'm considering selling my mazda and buying another bimmer I can turn into a daily driver and leave the e30 for fun mtn drives, track days etc....
My Price range is probally going to be limited to $1500 or less(my mazda is worth between $900 to $1600). So If anybody spots anything for sale in that range that needs some work(must run and drive). Let me know. Right now I'm considering an e21, e24, 2002, or who knows what.

ya I saw, that the current no start issue worries me. I could fix it but it's getting the car up here that would be the problem. Plus I've already had 5 running e30's and 3 e30 parts cars. So I think it's about time I mess with something else (since I already have a sorted e30). I wouldn't mind another m10 318i :)

the 528e would require as much money probally as buying another bimmer to make it roadworthy. Plus I'm sick and tired of working on it.

That and I stole your door lock, so you'd have to bungee the driver door shut.

yah that was way off topic, i was tired and had nothing better to say
anyways....
how bout an m42 swapped e21 (hahaha), 2002 would be cool, but one in good shape is probably out of your price range, and a cheap one probably wont run.... what about an E12?

anyways i'm off to work.

I looked at an E12 once down in atlanta, and just wasn't much of a fan.

I know of an e21 5spd for sale in Collegedale. It's got some surface showing up, and the interiors pretty ratty, but you could probably get 'er for pretty damn cheap, and I do believe that it runs. Spray it flat black, get some covers for the seat, and blammo, insta Beater.

That 1988 Super ETA is still available for $900 in Cookeville. You could probably talk them down even less than that.

It cranks but won't start and it had rust around the front strut towers but for <$900 you could have them rewelded.. Replace the bad CPS and have another car that would be easy to stroke.
