I just bought my ticket today for my first return trip to KC. I'll be in town Labor Day weekend - Sept 2-4.

The only business I have to take care of is picking up some mail from the post office and I should be able to get that done on Saturday.

I have 2 standing invitations. One to go to Wichita and hang out with friends(which I did last weekend), or go to Denver and visit my friends Katherine and Val.... Seeing as how my diversion ended yesterday, I kinda feel like traveling, but I'm broke as a joke, so we shall see.

My mother is in town Friday thru Sat afternoon, so I won't be going to the cat park until Sunday. That leaves Sat afternoon open for Shenanigans and Hooplah.

We should have some activity before hand to whet our appetites befor the chow-down... And we can gather in the River Market at my place to hang out since it's so close.

I land at 10 and have some quick things to take care of but should be 100% free by 1 PM.

Saturday afternoon would be a good time for an impromptu tech session and such. Anyone have anything they wanted to get done? If not, i am open to any activity suggestions.

Just got the original springs today to replace the H&R OE Sports (mushy). From BMA I'm expecting later today or tomorrow both L & R tie rod assemblies and sway bar bushings. Add to that the imperative to drop the exhaust cats back so I can replace Guido the guibo and you've got a full list.

I'm planning on doing all that on Monday and getting an alignment from Baron Tues a.m. I've been wondering why my suspension has felt mushy and blamed original (162k) sway bar bushings and the softer OE Sports, then I realized that I've replaced all the tie rod bits except the right inner ball joint and I'm sure that any Bavarian engineer would admit that 162k is a good time to replace a precision joint.

I know Blaine's got some work he needs done. Perhaps we can all manhandle him back into a soundly running blau mit weiss.

is a tech sesson planed? there are a couple things that I could fix on my e30, I could replace my fan clutch, I could also replace my turn signal switch or fix my high beams. I guess I could bring my e12 and fix the leaking fuel line, but for some reson that seems like a bad idea.
