Before anyone gets their feelings hurt and says something, I'll be the first to say that you can buy these new and shipped from Bavarian Auto for about $350 each.

Didn't I read somewhere that the kit from bavauto didn't come with one of the parts? I may have read something wrong. Is the kit actually the entire kit?

I posted this, as one of the chrome covers for the rear bumper was on major backorder. I actually just recieved the part in july! yay for actually getting it, BOO for me having to now take the bumper back off to install the piece.

This is for both front and rear so you would be saving a lot of money cause a complete set at bav auto would be over 650.

This is actually a brand new set from bav auto that was just never installed. Most of the stuff is still in the original wrapper. Thanks guys

Thanks for the clarification. I was scared of getting the bumpers, then never finding the other pieces to complete it. Once I get some money, THE EUROS WILL BE MINE! Muhahahaha!

You dont have to take it off. You can just get your hands up in there and use a small screwdriver to pry the clip off the rubber strip and wedge the bolt cover piece in there and tighten it down. You will also need to loosen the bracket from inside the trunk so it can sag just a little bit. I was willing to do this for you but you insisted on playing with the sausages.

I love how euro bumpers are a never dying subject on the forums. The guys who own Euros don't understand how embarassing it is to have US bumpers. I have a lot of work to do on my car when it comes to bumpers pretty soon. :lol

How do we not understand when all of us have at one point had the US boards. I rolled with mine for 5 years.

I was planning on having NO front bumper unless the local DMV mandated it, but not only is everyone asking me 'What is supposed to go there?" but my 6yr old daugher told me that the car looks 'broken' in front:rolleyes Fortunatly, a buddy of mine who gave up his E21 habbit last yr for a Subi habbit has a set of Euros he will sell me for a great price. I think the rear is in better shape than mine, also!:alright
