looking at the schedules of all the local tracks and the fact that i think it will be difficult for people to arrive on a friday night. i have chosen SUNDAY OCTOBER 15th. this should be pleanty of time for everyone to plan if need be. the track has not gotten back to me about an event type of situation. so we will show up and participate as a normal test and tune day.

just so you guys know there are a few reasons i picked island over the famous e-town.

1. e-town has events scheduled on sundays pretty much till the end of the season.
2. e-town get super busy and you will get less runs in.
3. at island spectators parking is super close to pit parking.
4. very laid back track and staff.

good question. it depends on what I do with the motor in the e36. I'm contemplating building it up for stage III. If I don't, you'll see it at the track.

I am eager to see what the galant will do at the strip with it's new toys. the season isn't over yet so each will have it's moment. :)

Show and Shine is once per year for us bimmerheads and it's always a great atmosphere. I would like to see the boosted bimmer meet changed to a different date as I would like to attend both.

I like the FI meet idea. I dont plan on running the quarter, but I just wanted to meet everyone and check out all the different set ups. If everyone wants to do a show and shine why dont we have a car pool to the next BMW event and keep the boosted meet as is. My car is hardly show condition anyway. Just an idea.

I currently have no engine, trans, or wiring in the car. I have to get everything together this weekend, so I don't know if I'll have it done in time. If i get it together I definately want to make the trip.

island is about 45-50 minutes from the GWB almost a straight shot down route 80. you are welcome to come. atco is nice but at 2+ hours away i am gonna pass on atco.

true true...i was racing a m3 couple months back and he kept up till around 150. those m3's pull hard though. i give props.

if you are reffering to me, i bought the setup used. but the setup is 16 inch contour reps available at tire rack. and the hoosier's are quick time pros 26 x 9.5 x 16, available on e-bay, local speed shops and summitracing or jegs.

track opens at 10. i will leave my house at 10 and it is a 40 or so minute drive for me. racing doesn't start till 11am. since i do not really need any "prep" time, i will be showing up closer to 11. either way i do not expect it to be crowded, tech is fairly fast. show up when you want.

m3romeo i belive thats his name with a99' M3 silver stg2 turbo and donovan with the turbo e30 were the only two turbos that were there. Although donovan was the only one that ran.

YOYO. DJ OutOfSight on the check in!! I am very glad i took the 2 hour ride to Nj and meet with you guys. Drew is mad cool as well as the others.

I was one of the few that ran and With just an intake/Exhaust/Ecu. Full Weight. i hit a 13.9 at 99.5 Mph. with a 2.1 60 foot. which i am very happy with. That means on my 100 shot i will be doin a niceeeee time!.

Cant wait to see those pictures with all of us linedup. Also ofcourse the Videos taken by the "Professional". My boys E55 ran a 12.3 , and he ran SLOW! he should be a dead low 12 or even a high 11. Cant wait to see that vid also.

Overall: I had a Blast , met some cool people , seen some nice FI M's and ran my quickest! Nuff Said!:buttrock

Yup that was you. My last run I kinda got my shit together and mustered a 12.4 at 118. Didn't really launch to hard, I was just happy it ran well enough to not have to pull out of the throttle... I was running the wrong plugs btw...:shifty I'm ordering up 2 sets of the NGKs I like right now.... I might hit up E-town and cash in my rain date next wednesday. This weds its looking like rain so far.

It was definatly nice meeting everyone, it is a shame that more people didn't run though.

I left a little while after 4. I think some people left a little earlier though.

Uppon further review, datalogging showed only 18psi. I have a few more clicks to go on the EBC along with getting my choice plugs back in it.

Had alot of fun today. Nice meeting everyone and seeing everyones car's. If we do this again (which we should) i bet more people will run, it was my first time there so i wasnt sure what to expect but next time ill deffinatly run.

Hopefully we can all go on some drives in the future.... we'll thats if the Gov gets there paper work together so the factory can actually release my m coupe that just sitting down in Spartanburg at the performance center collecting dust! Maybe next time my bro will run his z4 m coupe since he finally finished the break in today

WOW I didn't realize ASC was that much of a nanny! I ran a 2.3 60 ft. in my E38 with ASC off. I re-checked my lauch RPM and it wasn't as high as I thought it was. I would flash and hold at about 2500 RPM before letting go. Next time I have to pay a bit more attention and get it up to around 3.5k before I launch the slush box and see what happens. 14's maybe??
