Okay two stories, both of them I wasn't racing, just a passenger...

Going to the Three Days Grace concert Friday night, I'm riding with my buddy's completely stock (besides SSK) E46 328i 5Spd. We get off on Division street and we're the first ones at the light when a teal looking color convertable Eclipse Spyder GT comes rolling next to us with DLR tags, a goofy looking schmuck and two decent looking women in it. We're rockin' out to TDG with the windows down when he says to us in a retarded tone "wanna race." I looked at him and laughed and said "we didn't want to embarass him in front of his women." :rofl He starts reving that ugly turd like crazy, my buddy Tony very calmly turns off the traction control, light turns green and Tony launches the car BEAUTIFULLY, by the end of 1st gear, he's already 2cls on him, by the end of second, he's a good 3-4cls behind and he shuts it down. Of course, he does the ricer flyby. So now we're rolling on Division at about 35mph and we catch up to him and I looked over and said "it's a good thing we shut it down by the end of second of you would have been really embarassed." The girls in the car laughed and he had this obvious pissed off look to his face. We put on our blinkers to go left and he guns it as we're slowing down to make a left :rofl What a retard. Probably wasn't even his car. Something is mysteriously odd about my buddy Tony's car... it's too quick to be stock imo. He's able to keep up with my E36 and loses to me by the same amount I beat E36 M3s (videos to prove this if necessary). Anyways, a GT Spyder is like 200hp and 205ft-lbs stock and FWD weighing in about 3200lbs. So besides the disadvantage of FWD, this guy if he knew how to drive should have been a closer race.

Cliffs: Retard in Eclipse GT Spyder gets owned in front of women by my buddy's stock 328i E46 from a dig.

Race Dos...

Coming home last night from the Spokane Shock Arena football game (we won hell yeah!) I'm with my uncle in his completely restored 71 Mach 1 with the 351 v8 Cleveland engine. It has some upgrades to it, but I'm not quite sure what to be honest. It's an Autotragic too :nono We're getting on the freeway from Browne street and it's like a complete loop to the left when you're getting on. There is a guy in an E36 328i Boston green next to us (no clue what is done or what type of transmission but it still had stock bottlecaps on it). As the loop is finished and you now have to merge, my uncle is on the right of this guy and trying to accelerate passed him. And I mean he has it hammered! The V8 is screaming and the guy E36 Straight 6 is making a very familiar sound too. We get up to about 100mph and my uncle finally gives up and decides he can't get passed him and merges in behind him. So when the traffic finally clears, my uncle goes to past him on the left, the E36 immediatly punches it along with my uncle and by about 110mph, my uncle is at least 2-3cls behind this E36 and he's pissed :rofl Looks to me and says "what the hell is up with those BMWs are they all fast?" I answer politely "We're in a 4000lb boat, you're not going to win in a highway battle against most, sorry."

Cliff notes, 71 Mach1 loses to an E36 328ii on the freeway.

It's actually my cousin's car who lives in Federal Way, but I think he has something like 20gs into it right including the paint and the car itself. Still needs some work to get back to perfect though. I'll throw up some pics when I get home this evening...
