Hey guys, any of you ever been to the Wallingford Go Kart track? Its one of the biggest go kart tracks on the east coast, and its indoors. My question for those that have went is, are the carts even fast? Will my brake pedal serve a purpose or is it those slow keep-the-gas-pedal-floored kinda deal?

I stopped in there Saturday, didn't run. I was told the carts can hit 40. Parts of the track are tight, so if they can hit 40 I think you will be using the pedal on the left.

What is the track layout like?
Cost to run?

Cost is $25.00 per race (8 Minutes). If you become a member $36.00, races are $20.00 and you get two races as part of your membership fee, one of which is only good on the month of your birthday.
The track has a short start/finish straight, a tight section, then a couple of long straights. Of course long is relative here, this is an indoor place, an old Stars I believe.
hey guys answered my own question. went there last week and it was actually pretty damn fun!:buttrockI weigh 165 and the carts were pretty fast for me. On their site it says weight limit 185 but there were sum guys there that were definately more :confused
BUT 25 bucks did seem a bit expensive, althou it was a fair amount of time on track. suggestions: get on the track with sum expirienced looking drivers because each time sum1 spins out the yellow flag is raised and you gotta slow down.
they have a nice spectator area plus an arcade with billiards so waiting aint too bad. The track layout is real fun actually. theres 1 long strait and 2 slightly smaller ones.
I think its a real good place for a future meet as the parking lot is HUGE and usually empty. Plus if we have alot of people we're def gonna get a discount. A group of 9 guys there got to run 3 races for 15 each, if we get more than 9 i think we can get a lil lower price.
Shiny, fancy looking helmets will be provided.
