I'm looking for some snow tires but have a quick question.

Does anyone know of any snow/winter(not all season) tires that would fit on a '95 318i with 17x8" wheels?

If not does anyone know of a cheap package that has new rims with winter tires(ie if the rims need to be smaller to accomadate winter tires). I found some 16x7.5"'s @ bav auto(where I bought my current wheels/tires) for $999. They look pretty decent, though not nearly as good as my m-contours. And I would love to get somthing cheaper though I know that would really be asking for alot!

edit- just found for I think $832, some 16x7's with winter tires, from I think tires.com

thanks

Got Dunlop Wintersports running on 17X8s. Haven't had a chance to try 'em in the snow but put them on the other day and was surprised with their quietness and driveability. They are NOT "sport" tires but better than I thought for snows.

We have a aluminum wheel Sport Edition Valore with the Dunlop winter Sport M2 for 868.00. We also have 15" and 16" steel wheels for the car.
Let me know if I can help.
Thank you

I think I may go with those wheels/tires. Thanks. :)

-edit- quick q. Is there a difference in quality that would make those rims so cheap($119), as opposed to the rims that are $200+?
thx

The LM-22 Blizzaks are good, but if you can go 16"ers, the WS-50 Blizzaks are even better.
