Well another buddy of mine is challenging me to a race, he has a '03 Odyssey, he is saying he will total destroy me. He is stock 240hp and I'm stock also. I know he is quite a bit heavier but 240hp and 240tq is somewhat intimidating me. Will my 328i be able to pull oh him?:help

ive driven a 2000 odyssey which has the 240hp, and its fast for a minivan. the handling is also good since the car is wide. make sure you dont lose to a soccer mom vehicle.

the odessey runs 0-60 in 8 seconds or slightly better if i recall with the quarter mile in the high 15s to low 16s. trap speed 85 to 88 is what i remember seeing. So they can probably launch pretty well with the torque and i bet the mags weren't goin crazy to see how fast they can get it to go either

Yea, but a manual 328i should run 0-60 somewhere in the mid-low 7s and 1/4 in the high 14's. The e46 325xi does a quarter in 14.88. I don't see how it's possible a 328i could do worse.
