I have been getting "etching" on my windows that has gotten progressively worse as time as gone on. Basically, what it looks like is vertical scratches that run vertically down the length of the window. They cannot be cleaned by conventional means, and look like absolute crap.

What I am assuming happened, is that the grommets/seals wore out over time and allowed dirt to get in the tracks (I live in NM and its very dusty) but I am not sure. Has anyone had this happen or have a definite fix? Please help. :(

is it lumar tint? roll the window down and using a tooth brush and soapy water clean the inside of the rubber seals then rince.
