The CTS is heavier than the 328 by a few hundred pounds, and doesn't have that much more power. It also has a General Motors slushbox. My bet is the 328i wins.

Hey, i have a 2000 382ci, not sure more much difference there is power wise from a Ci to an i, but i have a close friend that drive a stock 03 CTS. we have done stop light starts, neck and neck threw 1st, at about 40 threw it into second and started to pull on him, backed off at about 70....school zone coming up...

good luck.

hmmmm... I believe that the BMW uses a "GM slushbox" as well. The 2.8 is a straight up dog. I believe you will take him.

Yeah, any Caddy with under 4Liters of displacement is a disgrace and a mistake.

The fact that a 6-cylinder Cadillac exists makes me ashamed :( .
