well, I know that the mid-late 90s stangs were nto very fast, but I thought they were a lill faster then my car. guess not, atleast with the drivers at hand. :D

I was stopped at a light, light was green and he rolled by me probably doing atleast 15 mph or 20 mph reving his engine pretty high. by the time we hit 60mph I was probably about a car length or 3 ahead ;) . Both of us had a passenger, and I chirpped the hweeld pretty hard shifting into 2nd (yea, I know that didnt help my speed). anyway, it felt pretty nice.

then there was a brand new civic. we were going probably about 35mph. heard him downshift (probably to 2nd) and he kinda beat the snot out of me. I dont know what kind of civic, but he definatly had an exaust on it.

does it sound like the stang was trying? the speed limit was 40, and we ended up going 65mph, so im thinking he was, what with all that reving and all too.

yeah the v6 stangs are worthless as far as racing goes. you can take them in a saturn sc2. good race, too bad about that civic though...

yea, I would think its an si. It sure made a lot of noise as it downshifted. my car has a chip, and a debaffeled airbox, and a stock, yet unusual sounding exaust (I didnt do anything to it, and I think it still has the cats because its not THAT loud. It has a nice low growel to it, and other people with E36 325i s say it sounds a lot better then their stock ones for some reason).
