They're the old (before they went to junk) Ritchey Logics. The casing's banged up a bit, but the pedals still have a lot of life left in them. Freshly greased and cleaned. Free to a good home in the Denver area. PM me if you want them- I just want to get them out of my garage, and can't bring myself to throw them away. Hopefully someone can give them a good home. R.

If any of the KC crew passes on these, I'd be interested.

I'll take what ever I can get.. I need to look around for the best deal on a set of shoes too. My new tires really make it more difficult because of all teh drag. The trail kicked my ass yesterday. :(

I'll grab em next time I'm there. Probably middle of next week. Search Supergo/Nashbar etc for shoe deals. There are some really good buys out there. Or check out the bike shops coming up. The riding season is not too far off from slowing down which = sales!

Geez- do you guys even *read* what's posted? This was NOT a sale. I just had some old pedals that I wanted to get rid of, rather than throw out. Free, no charge, nada, zip. I just thought someone in the area might want a pair. R.

I read it and offered to take them off your hands and I would pay for shipping. You declined.

Good luck on your GIVE AWAY.

Y'know? It's easy to see how BMW owners get a reputation. I had a pair of mtb pedals in good shape that I'd hoped someone could use. I didn't want to hassle with shipping, going to the post office, etc- hence the "local only". Instead, I get thread-jacked, and handed a ration of smack because I declined to ship the pedals to someone who'd "take them off my hands".

Just forget about it. More proof that it never pays to try to be a good guy. Congrats on putting a bad taste in my mouth over this forum.

If anyone was bashing anyone it was you for complaining about us talking about another BMW memeber giveing away his pedals.. You know how much stuff I've givent to people? I've given away a 13 button e36 OBC to someone in CO and even shipped it to them.. Don't get your panty's in a bunch because someone talks about the same subject in your thread.. We are all trying to help one another out.. Rob and I offered to pay for the shipping if no one took them locally that is all..

Congratulations on giving away stuff. I'm sure you're very proud. All I did was offer pedals to a home LOCALLY- apparently, that wasn't good enough for you. I started the thread to offer a freebie to someone. Next thing I know, it's jacked about pedals from someone else (which was fine), shopping for bike shoes, and when a mtb get-together will happen. That kind of stuff is what IM is for.

So. I'll find someone locally or just get rid of them. This post was just easy, and I thought someone local might be interested. I apologize for not wanting to take the limited time in my life to pack up and ship the pedals- I'm home an average of four days a month so it's just not worth the time it would take to pack and ship them. Thats fine.. In most cases I've found its easier to drop something by the post office than to try to meet up with a local person because of schedules etc.. Sorry for threadjacking, and You say this "Y'know? It's easy to see how BMW owners get a reputation. " when you've got "Does S54 mean anything to you" in your profile.. Go spend more time trying to give them away to someone local on your 4 days off.

Man, you just can't let it go, can you? Have a nice life. I've wasted enough time here already. I tried to do something nice, and you're just *frosted* that I didn't want to mail the pedals to you. Of course, if you were polite, I might have considered it. Now? I'll let the damn things gather dust in my basement before I'd ever consider sending them to KC. R.

:rofl I don't care you didn't give them to me, and Im not *frosted*. You already made it clear you werent going to the post office.

I was a little upset you get offensive about someone posting in your thread about mountain biking stuff, esp when they are being polite and helping others.. That is what this forum is all about.

Put them in your basement.

Hey, not to get back to the point of this thread....but, I'll take those pedals if you still have 'em. I'll be in Denver in the next week or two.
