It talks about costs, but in the US, the BMW is 10-13K less expensive. And it performance for the "average" driver is just as good and more entertaining. Other articles opine that in the hands of a skilled driver, the BMW is faster. When the "Stig" drove the Z4M, he got better lap times than the Cayman.

Roland supplied the link in his message. It's at the end of the video. You can goto TopGear's web site (I can't post the link...yet) or to YouTube and search for Z4. To get the actual lap times, you have to go to TopGear and click on Top Gear on BBC Two at the top right and then to Stig lap times on the bottom left.
