OK, I'm sure this is easy as I've heard it on many cars, I just don't know what it is. It's a hydrolic sounding squeak/hiss that happens when I turn the steering wheel while not moving. Maybe it does happen when moving and I just don't hear it, not sure.

Make sure your power steering fluid is topped off & check for leaks.

also check for any leaks in the ps hose, that s.o.b cost me 240 from bmw.
