I'll get GC's coil-overs track/school, run 245/40/17.

What spacers do I need on this setup please?

Thanks
Danny

With stock 8.5 wheels, none! I just mounted mine on last weekend and still had quite a bit of strut clearance. That setup is simply extraordinary, I love it!

Wow....Really? that sounds a bit unreal to me.

So, you're also running 17x8.5 wheels all around & need no spacers?

Danny -

You may find that a spacer is needed when you go to coilover suspension and/or if you use a wheel with a numerically higher offset than factory. On my car, with factory struts the stock 17x8.5 wheel would bolt straight on - no rubbing, no spacer.

Converted to H&R coilovers and I have only about 2mm clearance btwn the tire and spring with a 7.5 wheel - to run the factory 8.5, I calculated I would need 12.6 mm more clearance. Ended up buying 15mm spacer. I too was reluctant to use wheel spacers, but seems they are fairly common around here and I've never heard anyone voice any regret for using them.

Hope this helps
Mike

I'm gonna move this the Wheel/Tire Forum for more responses for you, too. And leave the trail here for Track Folks to follow.
