Hi all -

Been a member here for quite a while, both when I had a bimmer and now when I don't ... I just dont post much. :)

Anyway, is anyone planning on going to this even this weekend? Thought it would be nice to see the new coupes (3 and Z), plus the other models as well. I've never done this, so if anyone has, please let me know if it is worth the drive from west of the city.

I'll be there, hopefully I'll get to drive the new Coupe (you have to have been pre-registered).

If not, I believe there's also a Susan G. Komen event for Breast Cancer going on as well. You get to drive any available BMW they have/brought around a predetermined circuit and the miles are converted to dollars for Breast Cancer Research, so you win either way.. :)

I did this a few years ago when the E60 first came out, but at Road Atlanta.. And btw, I'm also coming from the West Siiiide!!! :buttrock

Not sure about a link; I received an invitation via the mail - I haven't seen anything else online about it.

You could probably call one of the local dealerships and they would fill you in.

It has been full for a long time, as in the day after we got the postcard.

yup its full. got the card in the mail and made the mistake of not calling that very instant. called the next day and they were all full, so they just put me on the waiting list (like anyone is really going to call to cancel). no point in calling now as i dont even think you can get on the waiting list.

Yeah, the road course bit is full - BUT - I'm going for the rest of it, the previewing of the models, etc.
