Well I was lucky to get to be part of their first ever test day out there this past Saturday. It was just to get some people on the track to try it out and help determine where the Carolina Curbs should be placed.

The track is one of the most fun I've ever been on and even with it being rather dirty, it still had surprisingly good grip. May have actually helped that I was on some Hankook RS2 Z212's instead of race tires. I also got to drive the pace truck to lead the very first low-speed get aquiainted session, lights and all.
I think you all will love the track as it has some great double apex sections, some subtle elevation, and the preperations and facilities (still yet to be finished) are going to be amazing. He's even putting in 50 amp hook ups and air compressor lines along one side of the paddock and his compressor will allow for 100 people to fill up their tires at the same time. How sweet is that? The surface was put down quite well as it was very, very smooth, not bumps/ripples, etc. at all. I think Mr. Wilson said it was the best track (surface job) he's seen to date. It's only 1.5 hours door to door for me and a easy nice drive to boot (4 lane practically all the way).
Just thought I'd post up about it as I figured some of you may be curious about this track. It is much, much better (IMHO) than MAM as far as course layout is. I haven't been on MAM for a few years so can't compare the grip easily.
I sure hope Missouri Valley region of the BMWCCA puts on a drivers school/track day out there next year as well.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
