I was going south on I75 nearing my exit (Knox/Henderson) when I see a car coming up slowly with Xenons on, as it gets closer I notice how wide and low the lights are. I drop the z4 into 4th and keep my pace ~55-58 next thing I know I hear this BWWWAAAPPP as the guy quickly switches lanes to the right and guns it, as he is QUICKLY passing me I shift into 3rd and floor it.
I look over as he is coming by an it is a silver Gallardo with the roof down he gets about 2.5 car links on me as I am down shifting.
From there he slowly pulls me about a .5 car link to 90 where we shut down. The exit ramp there is 2 lanes but traffic is coming up quickly so I never got totally next to him, it was awesome to hear such a beautiful car actually going somewhat fast. At the light he turned onto knox and went into Highland Park (our swank area) and I turned around and went home thinking about how cool it was being killed by an exotic that was not even being driven to the max.
Before i get flamed I know my Z4 is NOWHERE near as fast as a Gallardo, if the guy would have up shifted a gear or two im sure I would have been raped. None the less it was a pretty neat experience...
