Hey guys. Im wondering if the 1991 M5 throwing stars were 16 inch or 17 inch wheels?

17" only. Anything else is a replica.

Yes. It is undersized, but it will fit. Its an 8" wide wheel (there are 9" m-system wheels). 235/45 is the best fit for the 8".

Ok. Im not entirely sure if the throwing stars are 8 or 9 inch. If they happen to be 9 inch, will the 225/45 fit? I just need something to drive on for a short while.

I will bet that the wheels are 8". The 9" wheels are far rarer. Look at the back of the spokes, you should see an 8Jx17.
