Alright guys. I made this thread different because Im not sure if the nashville people would know this is happening towards their neck of the woods in the previous thread. Here is the previous thread:

We now have fine details! Here we go:

Chattanooga departure:
We will be meeting in the Cracker Barrel parking lot on exit 174 off of I-24 at 9:15am with a departure time of 9:45am SHARP. We will be taking the backroads through South Pittsburgh to meet the other guys coming down from various areas. The drive up there should last only about 1 hour & 15 minutes so we will be able to meet everyone ontime.

Nashville Rendezvous:
My group will be meeting you at 10:15am. This is going on YOUR time zone, not ours. We will be meeting at the bottom of Monteagle mountain. If you are coming from the Interstate, you are going to take Exit 134 toward US-41 / MONTEAGLE. You will see quite a few buildings and gas stations. Continue on this road for a little less than a mile. You will come to an intersection for HWY 41. Take a left at the intersection and follow HWY 41 all the way down to the bottom of the MTN. We will be lined up on the shoulder of the road 1 mile past the end of the MTN. If you need to mapquest it, just put in Monteagle TN for the city. Dont laugh at my paint work: :rofl

The Group Drive:
After the rest of the crowd meets us at the bottom, we will be taking a drive throughout the roads of Monteagle MTN, Sherwood TN, Stevenson AL, and Cowan TN. This portion of the event will take about 2 hours or so depending on how "spirited" we are that day. :devillook

The "After Drive" festivites:
The last road on the drive will lead us down the MTN directly to Joe's home. We will be having a well prepared "bavarian" lunch and some nice german brews to cool us off from the drive. We will be having hamburgers, brats, chips, dips, etc. and a nice portion of german brews. Everyone will need to pitch in about $8 to $10 bucks to cover all food costs. Honestly, anywhere we go to eat will cost at least $10 dollars, so why not put that towards an all you can eat feast? Joe was gracious enough to let us use his home(and grill) as an event spot, so the least we can do is help our host out on the cost of food. If you have any "special order" items, please either bring them with you or some of us can make a trip to the local Wal-Mart. If you want to drink, please be responsible and cover all the basics to be an adult and a "responsible" drinker.

Please add your name to the list if you would like to join in on the fun! Also add how many people you will bring as well as if you are attending the drive AND lunch or just the drive. I will have a map for everyone with directions of the route we are taking just in case someone gets lost on the drive. Damn, this is a long thread. Hope to see you there! :redspot

Thats a long day! I would be game for it but I am going to have to duck out a little early from the BBQ. Its my moms B-day and I HAVE to be there for it. I have honestly thought about changing the date but I dont know yet...

Well hopefully by then I'll have my brakes completely redone. Just bought some Powerstop cross drilled stock size rear rotors and EBC green stuff rear pads. Next up are e34 front calipers and carriers with the same pad/rotor combo, and maybe stainless steel lines if I have money left over.

Oh and I might be getting a cylinder head for my car. My roommate is going to port/polish it for me if I do wind up with the thing. I gotta stop spending money on this car :help .

Cj if you haven't used the EBC greens before I think you'll like them.. I have them on the E36 and noticed a big difference from the MMasters I had before..
Especially the dust...

EBC greens are "decent" if you abuse them they can get a little dicey :)

dang only 5-weeks, I got my new driver's front wheel bearing this morning, and will hopefully be ordering the 6-point passenger harness this weekend, then all I have left is the windshield, helmet, alignment, and leaking tranny seal.

Ha...Mine squeal like no other too. Ive got the Ferodo pads on mine and they will stop on a dime but holy hell are they loud while stopping slowly around town.

I've got a bottle of that disc brake quite goop. Hopefully it'll help a little.

Can't wait. Gotta get my new rear pads/rotors in this weekend. Hopefully in the next 2 weeks I'll have e34 540 front calipers/carriers/rotors/pads in. Or A/C, one of the two.

I know, I've been super busy at work. I got a new gig with insurance at AAA on Gunbarrel. It's much better and we have nearly unbeatable rates on auto insurance. But I do look forward to seeing everyone on the 14th. I've truly missed my BMW family. It's time I come home.

Nope.

Ya steve has had the e30 out a few time, but he's been plagued with problems, he did 1 full session and only about .5 of one total the rest of the day. He's having fuel pickup problems in the corners, even thought the tank is full. We tinkered with it and he's going to try it in the morning. Luckily my e30 is running without a hitch, my 4th session I finally started pushing it, but I still have to work my skills up to what the car can do.

I took it out and beat the stuffing out of it... It got a rest Saturday afternoon because of a fuel problem but Today(Sunday) it ran it's little crankshaft out !!!

I guess that any flakes that failed to be counted, but show up for the drive will NOT be welcome to the post drive bbq.

This count should be pretty accurate Joe. Going by the turnout we normally have for the club drives, we should only have about 5 to 7 more show up and about 2 to 3 MAX from the Nashville club. Did you get my PM from earlier today? I really think if we plan for 40 to 45 people would should be perfectly fine. I assume that the $8 or $10 food charge should cover it all as well? I can bring cookies and snacks and such like that. Does someone want to volunteer and bring drinks, other snacks, or anything else? Any more help would be greatly appreciated by us. If you plan to bring something, please add your name to the list.

Corey and his girlfriend are most likely going to be riding in my car. If I find the time to bolt the rear seat back in that is. Still have to do the clutch master cylinder, bleed the brakes, adjust the valves, and clean the car. Oh and I have homework and I work till 7 tonight :help

i keep losing stuff. Got to wal mart and noticed my pay check was missing. Thanks for coming out everyone! I had a great time and I hope all the same with you guys. I think that was a very good start for us being able to be more family like with other CCA chapters. We had a great turnout and Im glad to see the drive wasnt a complete disaster with trying to keep the group together. There has been worse! Glad to see that Ben could make it from Atlanta. Again, I cant thank Joe enough for being the after drive host for the afternoon. Good times and great friends. Thanks for my beer glass too! :beer It will be put to good use. yes he does... i'll never forget the drive to ichiban one day, following him (from ooltewah) we got held up for a second by some traffic, and this guy in a truck starts freaking out "Hey you crazy idiots! Y'all need to slow those P.O.S.s down!!"

i found it to be very funny. If i remember correctly though, all of you drive crazy on the interstate. Good times.
