Last meet went suprisingly well. Bud didn't show but we did meet a bunch of people from BRG (http://blackredgold.net) that happened to be in the area and got to see some crazy cars.

Meet is set for Lowes parking lot at 7pm on the 19th.

Map (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=3270+Berlin+Tpke,+Newington,+CT+06111&ie=UTF8&ll=41.659704,-72.723141&spn=0.06079,0.171661&om=1) for those of you that need one.

We'll hang out there for a while and possibly get something to eat. Open to suggestion for things to do once we get bored of standing around.

nice meeting you guys this past Saturday at Lowe's. I will try to make it down there again this weekend. I have a tournament all day in Winsted on Saturday so I may be wiped out by Sat. night. If my energy level is there, I'll definitely take a ride down. Either way, hope you get a decent turnout!!

If you're looking for things to do, the new Indoor go-kart track in Wallingford is a BLAST! A little pricey, but a lot of fun.

Like when they start putting meat on the grill at Bav Auto Show and Shine and everyone forms a line around the building for food? Personally, I head to the beer station and grab a couple while waiting for the line to disappear...

if you haven't experienced this little get together, make time for it this year!

But it's such a long drive ... :banghead:

Definitely not cool.

So you coming to the pike this weekend for the meet?

So you coming to the pike this weekend for the meet?

We usually drag 7 cars out on Friday and make a long weekend of it. Remember, life is a journey.... someone says lets go out for lunch and we are in the car heading for food three states over!

We will be in CT on Friday. I work the grid for events at Lime Rock and the Jersey SCCA folks are running their regional race this weekend. Saturday is the Patroon Chapter Drive and Dine for August and Sunday is an event out in Central NY, so we are booked solid this weekend.

We do want to get over to a CT event in the near future, so keep throwing them out there.

Ohh you can be sure we'll keep having them. As long as the weather is good and people show I plan on going to the pike every weekend.

Pictures.... yea, LillyWhite had a camera but did we get pictures? no

That and Bud didn't show with his camera.

Final answer: no pictures.

It was a fun meet though. There ended up being 7 cars total and we had a good time hanging out and talking.

Thanks guys.

That was a good turn out, glad I could meet all the people from BRG, and glad too see another e30 there (even if mine was not).

But sadly nobody took pictures....:(
