Okay, so there's the Bentley service manual that I'll be getting soon, which covers all the 3-series models from 1999 - 2005. I was wondering if there were other repair manuals that cover the e46 models that I should get. I tried looking up Haynes, but they don't have a manual for the e46 models. In addition to this, are there any good books on forced induction? Although I have a pretty good idea as to how everything works I think it'd be good to have something that could give me a much deeper and better understanding of all the components and such. I was also wondering about books that cover body kits. I know that some kits are held on by double-stick tape and some actually require screws, but I was wondering about the whole process of putting on a particular body kit (for example, having to remove certain parts of the car before putting on a particular kit). I think it'd be nice to be able to do it yourself.

I think he was asking close to retail cost a little while ago. But since some time has passed, you might be able to get it for a little less...Good Luck

Opps, didn't read your thread carefully...sorry. you are already getting one soon...

like i had mentioned in the other thread... BFC here is a GREAT source of information... if you have questions, post them up, or just read all sorts of threads in the Force Induction section...

you dont have to spend the money on the books, there is some GREAT knowledge and information, right here, at your fingertips for FREE.... (besides your internet service obviously.. LOL)

There is no better manual than the Bentley

On the internet E46fanatics is the best place to get E46 specific info. If there's anything in the world for your car, someone on that forum already has it

Check E46fanatics.com and just search. I can almost be certain that someone has done it before and documented it. If not just ask on there.
