My friend kenan has been wanting a bmw since he was a child (he's from europe)
he's been wanting me to find him one for ever so i fianlly found him one at grey eperson suzuki. He went with me of course to look at it.

Schwarz II
5 spd
tan interior
155K miles

they were asking 5995 for it, which was way to high.
It drove nice (i scared the salesman)
so my question is this...
the clutch pedal was really soft, and had a lot of throw in it. And it didnt seem to catch till right at the very end. I'm trying to figure out what would be causing this, i'm sure if i wasnt retarded i would have already figured it out by now, but my brain doesnt work that way.

they were only going to give my buddy 500 dollars for his prelude, which he laughed at the salesman over. But he his taking it to auction tomorrow.
We got him down to 4680 on the price.

what the car needs:
new front bumper because part of it was cracked
PS fog light
tires.
brakes
regular key (they only had the valet key and to top it off they didnt even realise this until i pointed it out to them)
shift knob (the shiftknob was already about to come off, and when i shifted it it came off)

besides all that garbage everything was good. It pulled good, the flex disc and everything felt fine. no gear whine, it shifted good.

so should he get it? he'd also come on drives with us whenever he gets one.

First of all , for more realistic pricing.. Buy from an individual, better yet and enthusiast.. Most any used car lot will ripp you good... That's what they are best at..

Every time I have ever been in one even just looking.. I always leave either laughing or shaking my head at the sales pitch...

well the only problem is he cant find one anywhere, i've been trying to find him one for ever and he refuses to go out of state or more then 100 miles to get one. He doesn't like e30's except the M3's, and he only wants an e36.

so far this is the only thing i've been able to find him that hasn't sold before he even got a chance to look at it.

So he wouldn't consider driving to the ATL for one? I guess this would be his best option then. If I were him though, it'd be easier finding an e36 in Nashville or ATL. Next time you see him, tell him I said what's up.

Well, i'm Kenan, the guy Corey test drove that e36 with, i finally got my computer to work right and now i can log-in to the bimmerforums, anyway if i sell the prelude i'm gonna call the manager up and offer him 4000 + tax and bs, do you guys think this would be a good deal for 4000? or should i keep looking, and also i wouldn't mind driving to ATL or Nashvile. oh by the way, what's up CJ.

Not much dude, just working and trying to get my car fixed up a little. Honestly, you'll probably find a lot more e36s for sale in Atlanta and Nashville. Good luck with the search dude.
