It MAY not be... stress on the MAY. I could have sworn I remember someone talking about attempting to make a CSL style trunk spoiler for the e36. Since we can't do just the trunk, and from those chops just the trunk looks like poop and it needs to go all the way across, someone was going to design a spoiler that mounted to the back of the car in such a way that it resembled the rear of a CSL.
How they were going to do it or if they are actually doing it is a different story. It may have just been an idea, but if it's true, it would probably help some here.

I guess that could work, but what about the actual dimensions? Sure you can make it wider or cut it down, but what abotu extending it from the rear window and such.

No clue man... I can't even remember if it's actually happening or not. May have just been someone's passing thought. Whether true or not, I'd like to see what people can come up with if they try.
M-crazy 08-11-2006, 05:00 PM I will check out the demension of a e46 csl trunk this sunday and compare it to mine.
I will be buying this csl add on lip and modify it. I would also relaly look into modifying my apare well and see if i can get the exhuast to go into that direction so i can put a vorstiner diffuser.
I appreciate all your help :)

E36Guy 08-11-2006, 07:18 PM I could have sworn I remember someone talking about attempting to make a CSL style trunk spoiler for the e36.
I remember a guy that bought one of the normal eBay trunk lips, then had it molded to his trunk to get the CSL look.. it just wasnt as big and high as the CSL actually goes. Maybe that is who you're thinking of. I dont remember his name, but the last pics I saw of his car, it's a convertible, primer grey, shaved moldings I think, and it may also be widebody.. :confused Anyone know who Im talkin about?
try my new rear led lights.
