As the topic title says, is there anyone else here who ordered parts from Umnitza within the last month still waiting on it? :help

Umnitza says they shipped the MV Splitters (groupbuy) July 26th, yet the tracking from USPS and another private tracking company says it hasn't even been placed in the postal transit, only recieved electronic information. I know its only been 2 weeks, but come on..if they say a product is in stock and will be shipped the following day after payment (july 27) shouldnt it be? My friend has had this same problem a while back where he waiting uber long for his purchase without even being told the product wasn't even in stock :shifty

I PM'd and was told that 48 out of 50 packages they sent out along with mine are "missing." So I'm curious, one of those 48 people has to be on these fourms, ANYONE??? :( :( :( :( :(

***not really bashing on Umnitza as i have purchased other products before without any problems, just want to see if any of the 48 missing belong to someone else on the boards***

While Im not defending Umnitza at all; USPS tracking system is complete shit. It rarely updates, usually only after items have been delievered. I had a package ship monday and then damn tracking info didnt update till today saying it was sitting at my post office.

i ordered something from them like 2 weeks ago. They did not provide me with USPS #, the package is still not recieved. I don't know how much longer umnitza will last with service like this.

It took Umnitza two weeks to get me my ZKWs w/chromium when I was told 5 business days. Fine. I don't mind waiting. When they got to my house, I opened them to discover not one, but two driver's side headlights and no, count 'em no passenger side. It took another three weeks to get my passenger side headlight in. After I finally got everything in, it took a week to trouble-shoot my angel eyes (one ring was sometimes dim). I refused to even talk to umnitza and finally figured it out for myself. I have to say though, I've been completely satisfied with the product ever since.

thanks chyaa, i searched all the horrors on tehdriven. too late now, i don't know what else I can do. I saved all the PMs and Screen Captured posts where Umnitza said they have my product in stock and will be shipped the next day, as well as them telling me that 48 of 50 packages were lost by USPS (which i highly doubt) incase they try to pull a bit*ch and edit the posts. I learned my lesson the hard way. UGH. FOR THE LOSE~~~~~~~

my experience with umnitza is that you get great info pre exchange of money and really piss poor service after. (slow shipping, delays on getting you tracking info, hard to reach via phone and even failure to return messages)

too bad he is selling some stuff i want, i cringe at going through this again

I have had a great track record with Umnitza. USPS is utterly horrible. It took me week and a half to get something from them and I am only a short distance away in California (too far for driving though, but short in terms of shipping). Also, another package they sent me, I tried to track it, but the USPS website never updated. Everytime I've had shipping problems its been the damn postal service, and the USPS will never get any better, they have no initiative to :shifty

Everyone has good and bad experiences, and I'm sorry you're having a bad one. Hopefully everything will get worked out and you should keep calling or emailing them... calling is probably better at this point. And if it's that bad, dispute the charges and get your money back.

Personally, I had 3 great experiences with them. I was part of the MV splitter group buy and I received a tracking number and the splitters. Also part of the DEPO group buy and habbi was a pleasure to work with and he's been incredibly helpful with some questions I had before and after. My first dealing with them, I was told it was going to be about 3 weeks before I received my wheels, I got them in 5 days.

Again, no matter who you deal with, there is going to be good and bad experiences... I'm sorry you are having a bad one. Good luck.

For my old car, I ordered headlights with everything, and splitter. Headlights came late, splitter didnt come at all. I had to call 3 times before they shipped my splitters to me. The headlights were sick though, too bad a drunk driver ruined that car!!!

FWIW, let's assume a couple of things:

Matt shipped the items... so what is left?

1. USPS in the Dublin, Pleasanton, San Ramon and Livermore area is going through an upheaval. I cringe using USPS right now as even my letter carrier at my old office mentioned that the postmaster is trying to remove the post office from Dublin and push the work over to the surrounding cities. (Think of unloading the mail of 40k people over to nearby cities.

2. The cities of Dublin, San Ramon, Livermore and Pleasanton had about a 3%-5% growth rate in the last 5 years. Imagine picking up a population of +15%.

I'm not saying maybe Matt isn't to blame, but all the Gov't services are shit right now. When your mailman pulls a 10 hour shift for weeks on end, you know something is amiss.

over two years ago I had awful shipping experiences with them....being told my package was shipping out and it never was. Twiced it felt I was flat out lied to about my product being shipped.

Till I finally told them to overnight it...they charged me for the extra overnight fees when they had been fracking around the whole time.

I just ordered some Lamin-x for my E30 and I got a USPS tracking # which isn't updating.. so hopefully they show :dunno

And I've had good and really bad experience's with them. The last two since some problems have been excellent. So hopefully this one works out. But I do think they need to hire some good help and people who deal with customer service related issues. That would really help their company out

We apologize for the delay and the inconvenience it has caused you.
If you need assistance, please call in so we can help you locate or reship an item that is clearly lost at this point.

Here's the actual proof that we did ship your item as we have had no other choice except to start doing this withour USPS shipments (the post office doesn't really like us doing this but...):

I understand that the pictures don't make you feel better, but we really have stepped up our shipping.

We currently have a daily pickup with the post office where the actual clerk scans all our packages and gives us a receipt.

Again, we apologize for this inconvenience and hope that you can contact us to resolve - even if we have to reship you a new splitter.

Wow. Good idea on taking pics of everything.

It is not Umnitza's fault here. The USPS in Northern California is a friggin nightmare. I have shipped a package out twice now to San Diego, once I inverted 2 numbers on the zip code, my fault, the second one has vanished into the abyss.

The USPS does suck sometimes.

There is a reasonably easy solution to the problem... I think alot of customers would be happy to pay an extra $5 for FedEx, UPS, or DHL if it means getting their stuff in a timely manner.

Some customers are retarded though... so who knows.

I recieved the package and in the end, as many of you modders know, its all worth the wait! hahaha. Thanks Umnitza for baring with me and my frustrations and not losing patience! As for paying the extra for FedEx or UPS i didnt even know that was an option.

Anyways, product recieved, customer is happy, all PMs and questions were answered.. / thread

thanks!

I ordered some new front clear turn signals on August 9th and they shipped on the 11th. No tracking number and no sign of the package as of the 30th. Called the number but the person says they cannot assist and to send an email via the website. I was promised a reply with 24hours of the email but at two days now, no word. I'm going to wait and see how the transaction works out before purchasing any more goods from them.

edit: package received on Sept 5, customer service was a big help. I appreciate all of Umnitza's assistance in getting me my package.
