Should be able to repolace just the bearing. GC should have it, or even another bearing manufacturer. You'll just have to get the exact dimensions.

ps ... you suck at macro photography :stickoutt

Wow... that's alot of crap in there. Was the bearing sealed?

Most camber plate manufacturers seal the bearing when they are using a torrington style setup. Usually a rubber gasket on top and bottom. This helps keep the debris out so your bearing doesn't crap out (which is what it looks like happened to you).

When you get your replacement bearing, check to see how the seal is on the bearing area. Maybe you need new gaskets too.

Dunno. I bought a car with these on them. The metal disk that rotates on top of the bearing did have a rubber gasket, but the one for this side was a little messed up / torn.

Needle bearing messed up after 5 years of street/auto-x/track use, NO WAI!

I do need to do some maintence, hence swapping it out.

thanks for the responses so far, hopefully when I go to solve the problem, Ground Control chooses to answer their phone....

Last I knew thats a "off the shelf" bearing. You should be able to buy it alot more places then GC if you need to. My IE plates on my e30 used the same one.
