UPDATE!!!
Ok right now i havent really gotten alot done, but i figured "what the hell" i'll go ahead and start a project page so i can post all the things i do to it in. Probably no one cares, but i love keeping up with people's projects and i'm sure someone out there does to.

I bought this car In the middle of june from BF.c Member "MacPcMan" from Harrisburg Pennsylvania.
I talked to him about it for about 2 months before i finally was able to get it. I put my sentra for sale as soon as we had all the details worked out and i sold it the day before i left out to go get this car. My friend Andy drove me all the way up there to get it and what was supposed to be a 2 day trip, turned out to be a 3 day nightmare.

I basically paid 750 dollars for the car, because marshall turned out to be one of the nicest people i have ever met. I gave him 800 dollars cash, and in the first test drive he filled the gas tank up with 91 octane (all they have up there) which was 48 dollars.

Well, about halfway through virginia, the enigne fan lost a few blades and cut a huge gash into the radiator.... Not good. So i was stuck in virginia for a day... Luckilily the local Advanced Auto Parts had ONE radiator for my car in their warehouse, and had it overnighted to me. Nothing like changing a radiator with limited tools, in the middle of a super 8 motel's parking lot. Oh yah, to top it off, i had never changed the radiator in a bmw before, but as i found out it wasnt any different then any other car... well, it was but.. you know.

Then the night i got it home i drove to my girlfriend's house and the serpentine belt broke, luckily i had a spare in my trunk....
Long story short i had to change it in the middle of a gas station parking lot.

But heres the pictures of it when i got it:
btw.. its a 1993 325iA

Then the Idler pulley siezed up a few weeks later....

But to sum things up, everything is starting to actually go alot smoother now.

heres a link to all the pictures i have taken of the car and anything related to it..

Opinions both good and bad are appreciated....

Respect for the C-Rot.

Any recent pics that show your bodywork/paint prep skills?

I have some corners, some headlights, full body trim (3 series, not ///m), stock 92 style kidneys, rear bumper, and a few other stock things i removed from my car when I did the Rieger GTR conversion. I don't actually want any of it if you need something.
(freebie)

OH and I have some 15 in borbet 6 stars that would look pretty good for $175. They have good tires (goodyear aqua tread)

no not yet, i'm wanting to actually get the body worked finished before i take any pictures of it. right now it has a really crappy sanding job on it that i'm not proud of
its just kinda scuffed up right now cause we're about to shoot it with grey primer (gun, not rattle can)

right now i'd give anything to get the a/c working in it...

Aww, c'mon. Go rattle can. I did, and from about 10 feet it doesn't look too bad.

Looks like a good start there bro, good luck!

lmfao :lol i need to get this towed to our new section....
the fender got like that because i went over a speed bump out by the mall and my shocks are SOO blown the car slammed down on the bump, it was horrible. it knocked the fender off, and no telling what else it did.

How much do you want for all of your R/C stuff dude? Well, besides the chargers, don't really need those.

i'd really like at least 220 for everything.. i mean i have about a 800+ in it all... more then that if you count replacement parts and motors i cant find, and burned out ESC's (only reason i dont have a running one is because i need a speed controller) everything works though, for the most part. i have two controllers, but one needs a set of crystals.

maybe you can comeover one day and i'll let you lok at everything and youc an figure out what you want and we'll go from there...

i really dont want to sell the stuff, but i dont have time for the hobby anymore, and i could really use the money.
been into R/C since i was 11. (got a tamiya super hornet from my uncle for my 11th birthday)

Yeah, we'll see dude. I'm gonna be gone from Friday to Sunday, so I guess I won't be able to pick up the Sandmaster from you this weekend. Next week though, for sure. I'd like a look at the TC3 too, cause I've always wanted one of those.

cerealkiller93
08-16-2006, 01:05 AM
sure man no problem... the tc3 is freaking quick though, its faster then the nitro buggy..
but i guess when you got 500 dollars in a toy, it damn well better be.

Oh I'm sure it is. But nothing really can touch my Losi XXX-T graphite plus. Holy crap can that thing launch.

Anyway back on topic, I don't see why you'd need to modify anything to get a 328 auto trans computer to work.

325 = obd1
328 = obd2

Computer came in today... and guess what, its no were close to fitting. I either gota reqire up a 328 plug, or find a conversion harness on the interweb, i doubt anyones ever relaly done this before...
i just got a promotion at my job, so if i cant figure out some simple solution, i'll just go ahead and do the 5 spd conversion...

cerealkiller93
08-19-2006, 12:58 AM
i vote 97 m3 conversion....
talking to someone down in georgia about this nice little 97 m3... he's offering to let me make payments on it, if i sign a contract.
depends on how this new position i have at work goes for me.
the m3 has alot of miles, but combo of this and the m3, i wont have to worry about being out a ride...

Fixed the passenger side window about five minutes ago... sorry no pictures...
i still need to replace the little plastic sliders in the window, the tops were broken off of them... for the time being i just flipped them over and popped everything into place, seems to be working fine, and hopefully will be good for a few weeks till i replace them.

You need to lower the car before you can pull of the Style 5's. The offest is werid on them and it looks really funny if the car is not lowered with them tucking. I love the style 5's on E36's though. Really get looking rims.

As a cheaper alternative, you could always put very large rocks in the engine bay and trunk to lower your car.

Seriously though, I'd invest in a nice set of shocks/struts/springs before wheels/tires. Worry about wheels later.

cerealkiller93

i agree, i'm planning on lowering it first, i guess i should have made that point...
...

thanks to "one" for the free parts, i picked them up tonight, hes got quite the R/C Collection, and quite the car collection as well, that man loves Lexus's. We just couldnt find the headlights lol.... so i guess when ever he finds them i'll be making a trip back up to signal.

once again, thanks man!
