Folks, my diff (stock classed 3.23) is shot (tons of inside rear wheel spin) and I am considering rebuilding the lockup and changing the ramp angles as well, the only thing I cannot change is the ratio which ofcourse I am not changing.

That said, I would like to get 30/90 ramp angle with a 40% lockup. Any other suggestions/comments?

Secondly who are the diff builders out there? I only know of KMS and Diffsonline. TIA.

Quite a few choices: (I'm only informing no endorsement of anybody)

Alan Jenson in OH, TC Kline's engine builder
Kermit Upton of Mountain Autosport in VT or NH
Jim Blanton of Performance Gearing in Kansas City, MO
Metric Mechanic in Kansas City, MO
Koala Motosport in OH
Diffsonline.com

If it just needs bearings and tightening up the the LSD, any good Diff guy can do that. The bearings are readily availalbe. Doing ramp angles requires more expertise. Anybdoy listed above can modify the ramp angles.

Folks thanks for the leads.

FYI, the ramp angles and lock changes are allowed in stock. I have to keep the stock 3.23 diff in there.

That said, I am having information overload on the ramp angle changes and lockup suggestions from different vendors.

I am not too diff savvy, that said, what are the recoomendations? I have heard 30/90 with 40% but then another vendor suggested the variable 45/30 20% lockup (as used by Bob Tunnell).
