I'm trying to find somewhere in the north bay of the SF Bay Area that does wheel repair. I've got a slight bend in a rim from a piece of metal and need to get it fixed. Places have been suggest in SanFran but I'd rather not go that far south. I'm in Sonoma County.
Thanks for looking/helping.

Did you ever find a wheel repair shop for your rims? I am in the Bay Area, CA and I am looking to get my Radenergie R10 wheels refinished and fixed since all 4 were damaged in shipping ? I have heard of www . fixrim . com but I thought someone else mentioned another really good place to get rims fixed ? Any ideas of shops?

Try calling Wheels America, they are in Union City, 510-441-2199. We use them all the time at my dealership to repair rims. Average cost per rim is like $100, I think.

I thought of using Wheel America, but I have heard mixed things about the. I was recommended to go to Wheel Techniques in Santa Clara from a member who used them both. They were a little higher in price, but was told they looked soo much better then his others from Wheel America. The turn around time was a couple of days, which is not a big deal. I just want the best shop to refinish my wheels to look just like NEW.. if not better...

Riteway in Walnut Creek is another option. I was quoted $140 per wheel for straightening and refinishing.

Depending on how big the crack is and if you have any refinish work it could cost at Wheel Tech anywhere from $150 $200 and up. I would say on avg to fix and refinish about $180 or so depending on the wheel. Since I had several wheels done I do not know the exact price. Wheel Tech in Santa Clara did a GREAT job and highly recommend them if you are near by. It did take a little while to get the wheels back since they were super busy. Good Luck on it.

I ended up going to a mobile guy- Alloy Wheel Repair Specialists, mobilewheelrepair.com.
They're a franchise, Bob Selden's the guy I used, based in Novato but travels all around, he met me in Santa Rosa. Nice guy, wheel ended up cracking (it had a bad bend) and I just got it back, not sure how in depth he goes (like if he does crack repairs, but I don't think he does).
His number's 707-888-5491.

+1 for wheel techniques, they have fixed 3 of my old school over stressed aluminum Dinan wheels that have cracked, never had one weld pop, and the wheels are almost perfectly balanced still. They also un-bent, and un-curb-rashed an 18in M5 wheel on my dads 635 (its for sale now too, ooooo, even the a/c works) There al lil pricey, but they do great work, good turn around too. Cracked wheels were 125-200 depending on size of crack and to straighten the m5 wheel and fix the curb rash was 300. Cheaper than a new wheel, looks like a new wheel too. They also do wheel re-finishing, anodizing, chroming, pretty much anything you want done to a wheel they can do it.

$300 for one wheel to straighten and refinish?
Wow.
I'd just buy a new wheel for myself if I could find one. :)
I'm also looking for a place to refinish 2 of my wheels.
