alright everyone, I told you I would post up my info when I got it back from Blackstone Labratories.
Info: 1999 BMW M3 with S52 3.2L I-6 76,800 miles on motor
8,000 Miles on oil change with NO oil filter change at 4K..
15w50 Mobil 1 Extended Performance
I got the TBN and it still read 2.9, still active additive remaining. Even after 2 track days, and my heavy abuse... Good to know after 8 thousand miles, the oil is still lubricating as its supposed to.
All in all, the oil is definately worth its money and label as a higher mileage oil...
On the other hand, Some small concerns have arisen with some of the numbers on the test... High Aluminum content (pistons, bearings, cases 'heads & blocks') High Iron Content (Cylinders, rotating shafts, valve train, and any steel part sharing the oil), and a low flashpoint....
0% Antifreeze was good, no HG problems to be seen
0% Water
0.5% fuel, no problems either
I will try to scan the report in and post it, but I'm in a rush right now, and will get it later tonight hopefully
Take care
