alright everyone, I told you I would post up my info when I got it back from Blackstone Labratories.

Info: 1999 BMW M3 with S52 3.2L I-6 76,800 miles on motor
8,000 Miles on oil change with NO oil filter change at 4K..
15w50 Mobil 1 Extended Performance

I got the TBN and it still read 2.9, still active additive remaining. Even after 2 track days, and my heavy abuse... Good to know after 8 thousand miles, the oil is still lubricating as its supposed to.

All in all, the oil is definately worth its money and label as a higher mileage oil...

On the other hand, Some small concerns have arisen with some of the numbers on the test... High Aluminum content (pistons, bearings, cases 'heads & blocks') High Iron Content (Cylinders, rotating shafts, valve train, and any steel part sharing the oil), and a low flashpoint....

0% Antifreeze was good, no HG problems to be seen
0% Water
0.5% fuel, no problems either

I will try to scan the report in and post it, but I'm in a rush right now, and will get it later tonight hopefully

Take care

Interesting info! I bet the high metal content is because you didn't change the filter. I went 3 or 4K on my change of 15W50, then swapped the filter and I am planning on going 3 or 4K more then changing with fresh 15W50 mixed with some lighter M1 for winter.

You should prob change the filter more often and you'll be OK.

Cal, what were the actual numbers for the iron, aluminum, etc. Here is my latest analysis using M1 15W 50 with almost 7500mi on the oil:eek: I have never gone this long, and probably never will again, but I got lazy. Anyway, here's the goods:
