I'm not trying to push anyone buttons here, okay......
I was at the dealer picking up my car from the window reg. repair. A nice looking blond walked in with the exterior door handle from a 760 in her hand. SHe located the salesman she bought the car from and started in on him. She claimed that all the windows have failed, the window and door seals leak (or have leaked) the wind noise is awful and the this is the 3rd time the door handle has come off. She said "This thing has been a nightmare from the start!" She was then asked to tone it down and escorted to the back somewhere. Now, I have read that there were some problems with the early 745's but is this still an issue? IF....what she was claiming was true, then someone in Quality control is sleeping on the job. So are the newer 7's really this bad?
On a lighter note. Once all my paperwork was in order and was waiting for my car to show up, she came outside to smoke. They pulled up in my 7 and she looked at me and said, "Now that is a good car. Not like the new ones. I should have never traded mine." I smiled and politely said thank you. Loaded up the kids and drove off smiling.
