Here is a new series announcement for Bimmer racing. Basically, similar rules as BMWCCA but similar to other NASA series, they have lower weight minimums. It also includes a spec series for E30's and Minis. Check it out.

I read over the rules and seems pretty good, maybe it will catch on on the East coast too. It will be place for BMWCCA club racers to add a few more evnts to their schedules since the rules are so similar.

yeah 18x8.5 they are 24lbs each. Not exactly light, but they look sweet

It won't catch on the East Coast, as the series is being started by a bunch of whiny left coasters who got upset at BMW CCA Club Racing. So, they stole all the track dates that BMW CCA had worked to secure and started their own series. To each his own I guess...
