Well after a hard fought battle I finally won. I have been neglecting to change my flex disc for a while. Well yesterday in the heat I attempted to get the bolts off and they would not come off. Well I was told to use PB Blaster. I soaked the bolts in PB Blaster overnight. This stuff works wonders, I still had to kick the wrench to get them off. It only took 30 minutes to do the whole job once the bolts broke loose. Below is what remained of the flex disc as compared to a new one.

Nice job, kinda reminds me of the right thrust arm ball joint that took 6 hours to get off.
Ouch. PB blaster + lots of leverage FTW

His is worse, only the bushings and 2 pieces of rubber left. Yours was one piece.

I had to knock the bushings off with a hammer because they when basically fused to the drive shaft. The second I had to bang on for a few minutes. It is a pretty easy fix, I have yet to see why I was quoted over $200 for less than an hour job and a $50 part.

flex discs are actually real easy to get off if the bolts aren't fused to the drive shaft.
