SUNDAY, AUGUST 20TH
All Euro Grill and Chill BBQ/GTG

So take everyone from the Neftin VW GTG, drive them on 60 miles of the best roads in the world, and have the drive end at a great location for a BBQ and GTG with an open invitation to ALL EUROS.... That's the plan.. VW, Audi, Porsche, Volvo, BMW, Mini, Watercooled, Aircooled, Old, New, everything Euro.

Neftin VW and Pure Euro have teamed up to buy us all lunch by providing hot dogs and hambugers with all the fixin's (while supplies last)... We are asking that people help out the BBQ by bringing chips, salsa, drinks, etc (stuff that'll make it through the drive) and we can have one helluva BBQ.

For those not going on the drive, the information for the event is as follows:

Time: Show up between 1:45 and 2.
Place: Camarillo Grove Park
Address: 6968 E Camarillo Springs Rd, Camarillo, CA.

Cost: The cost to enter the park is $5. So make sure to bring a little cash with you.

This last part of the day is all about getting to know eachother, relaxing in an amazing environment, and just having a good time. Needless to say, caution must be excesized while driving around the park... No terribly large bumps, so those that are low, just be careful and everything will be fine....

Here is the update.

It came to our attention late last week that the original location we had planned on using would most likely not be able to accomodate an event with this amount of cars. Suffice it to say that people would have, most likely, ended up having to park their cars on a dirt lot.

So we have decided to move the GTG to Pleasant Valley Park, which will have ample room for us to enjoy ourselves and not have to compete for the location with other picnic'ers. On top of all that, the GTG will now be 100%, completely free of charge for everyone. That's right, no entrance fee.... With this is mind, we don't think it's unreasonable to hope that everybody brings something to contribute to the BBQ (things that would survive the trip.... and don't worry, we have the meat etc covered).

Thanks for posting the flier, Brad! A slight error that slipped through the cracks is that we forgot to take off that it costs $ to enter the park.... The whole day is now COMPLETELY 100% free! Because of this, we don't think it's unreasonable to ask everyone to bring something to contribute to the BBQ. Soda, chips, salsa, whatever will make the drive...

The reason we had not posted the pre-drive GTG and drive is per request of Neftin VW. We already have 50+ VWs registered for the event so we didn't want to create even more of a parking situation than we already have... I'd love to see a bunch of Bimmers, etc, there.... just please make sure that if you decide to come (should be a rediculously good time), that you aren't taking up a spot that a VW could be filling at the VW dealership....

The absolute best advice I can give you is to get there closer to the beginning of the roll-in time so you can get really good street parking. There is ample parking on the street and it's first-come-first-serve.

Damn, finally a meet in my town, and I'm working. I wouldn't get back into town until 3:30ish (farm is in Camarillo, about 10 mins from the park). Anyone want to go on a drive after the BBQ? Seems the pre-BBQ drive is closed anyway...
