Hi all just a few questions about the RK's.

I'm looking at 17" sizes here with the same size front and back (non staggered). Just a few questions.

Can I run 7" width and still get away with 235 40's? (Might be nice so I won't have to run stx in the autox)

How about 8" or 8.5" up front and out back? I do have Bilstein's PSS9 coilovers on it with a 10mm spacer up front. Any idea how wide I can go without getting into the tender? or what type of offset I should look for?

And lastly a little on the looks. I've only seen them in a polished type of finish that looks a little gunmetalish. Brian Leib has them on his M sedan. Do they all come like this or can you get them in straight silver (who'd want that when you can get such a sweet color!)

here's a picture or two of what I'm talking about.

Thanks all! I appreciate any responses :)

You can get 17x8 for sure with a 38mm offset with your 235/40/17 tire. That should work out. I know for sure they make that size with that offset since I had a set of BBS RC's before with that same exact size. I think they carry 17x8.5 also, you can do that all around also if you like, that would be no problem.

only thing I'm worried about with the 8.5 is the PSS9's.

I suppose I could just try it

I would not recommend the 17X7 with a 235/40R17. You will need at least a 17X7.5 for the tire. The RK is available in the 17X8 for the car to run all the way around with the 235/40R17. We have the wheel in stock at 288.00 and they are 17X8 and 16.5 lbs.
If I can help let me know.
Thank you
