"BAY AREA" DINNER MEET AND DINNER #2

FRIDAY AUGUST 11th

The first dinner meet was totally awesome, I had a great time and the pizza was badass at Amici's. There was a good turn out of about 14 people was cool and the drive afterwards was even better because there were no cars anywhere in sight. So good was that night, that I am setting up another one.


As usual the meet location and dinner location will be posted later.

no no im not getting it from eric.

hes chargging 2000+ tax + labor plus i have to give back my old diff. so if i get it thru him its like $2600.

im getting it done at dynospot racing in san jose. the drive there is much closer and im buying the ring and pinion for the 4.10 and he is going to custom fabricate the diff for me with the shims and diff oil n everyything..

the ring and pinion cost me $625 shipped and the labor+ misc parts is like 1100.. so im only paying 1700-1800 for it...

only drawback is it takes 3 days to do everything, whereas eric could have done it in 3 hours.

that's a pretty big difference

if you guys are up for breakfast, I know of an awesome breakfast place I know of in Union Square. I don't have a decent kitchen where I live, so cooking is going to be kinda hard, unless it's microwave pizza or something like that.

Sorry it took me so long to chime in but i had fun that night. Crazy drive and getting lost from barnes and nobles to the restaurant that should of only been at max 5 turns but i ended up making 28...lol. It was cool meeting so new people and seeing some familiar faces. The drive made me want a better suspension, i was rolling all over the place going through some of those crazy side to side up and down turns...looking forward to more good times like that night!

that was a crazy drive...lol...especially like that drop in the beginning of the run...zero g action is always fun...and sry if i confused some ppl gettin off the freeway early...lol...just goin home the way i knew

Yea i made it home with those directions...I could of hoped on 680 and paid the toll but i jus kept on 880 all the way to 80. No problems at all, dont know which way is quicker but it was a long drive...I will most likely come again in the future as long as it doesnt interfere with work (2 jobs) so we'll see
