Weight is the only thing turning me off on this car. 3500lbs! :bawl

Any ways to get this pig manageable?

that would be for the auto trans and i believe a pretty well built car( most options) the car with a manual trans only weighs about 75 more lbs than my 05 zhp- lol its not too bad considering it has 2 turbos- if you get the auto.... then yea.... i dunno about the weight-

I'm just going off what i had read off another forum- could've been a mistake- either way I'm not sure- I'm familiar with the link you posted because i also asked myself the same question- no need to panic-

Automatics traditionally do weigh more.

Also, cars are getting heavier and heavier as time moves on, mostly because of the bullsh*t little laws that nit pick every detail that automakers have to improve upon..

I'm proud to say that my daily driver with an almost full tank of gas, bunch of junk in the trunk, and me in it doesnt even approach 3000lbs....thus I get 35 mpg!

Thats what BMW calls it but its commonly known throughout the entire automotive community as "direct injection"
