I had replaced the tires on the e90 325xi yesterday with non-runflat tires because my oem tires developed some serious cupping and they were noisy as hell. Must say, it rides/sounds just like the day it was first driven home. Except now I have a Check Tire Light now.

Does anyone know how to permanently shut-off this warning light?
Spacesaver tire kit from leatherz.com is also on the way.

Thanks.

Don't know if the E90 uses actual TPMs in the wheel or, if it's the same system as my E46 that uses ABS to monitor wheel rotation. But, in either case, the system will operate the same regardless of the kind of tire mounted on the rim. So, assuming you don't have a pressure problem, it should just need re-setting as described in the manual. If the OE wheels had TPMs in them, and they were removed, then you have a different issue and you might some reprogramming by the dealer or a tuner.

Well I had the car running and used the directional lever to scan through the diagnostics and I found one for the tire warnings. I pushed in the button once and then held it in for a few seconds. A check mark appeared and the warning lights shut off...this was probably in the manual but I never checked.

Seems like the problem is solved.

Thanks elh0102 for your suggestions.
