any ideas what needs to be replaced????? i read something about the passager seat pad??? any got any part numbers???

i have a1 999 540i 6 speed.

I believe the fault is telling you that the passenger side seat belt receptacle sensor isn't working. That's a fairly common failure. I think the part runs about $125 and there's probably an hour of labor involved.

same with my car.. i posted this thread couple of days ago..

is there an easy way to fix it.. i bought the peake tool to reset it.. but after resetting it, the light went back on..

That one is pretty easy to fix. Buy the seat belt tensioner assembly, disconnect the battery, remove the affected seat, replace the tensioner, reassemble, and clear the fault code.
