View Full Version : Point transfer question with license (not ticket)
Bav///Man 08-01-2006, 11:19 AM I have had a MD license since I was 16. This past year I got a VA license. There were 3 point on the MD license at the time. The point scales are different between the states.
Clear new VA license?
IRoman 08-02-2006, 01:59 PM VA, MD, and DC all have an agreement together that points transfer over, I just found out about this because of a seat belt ticket. Good thing I'm technically a florida resident
geftman 08-02-2006, 02:22 PM wear your seatbelt buddy!
IRoman 08-02-2006, 02:36 PM I have been going for years without wearing it, I have been starting too in the past month. Sometimes I dont always remind myself to put it on, although now I have a 50$ dollar reminder
SpeedTheory 08-02-2006, 03:30 PM Whoa, looks like you came out of nowhere bro! I move in to my apartment in Tallahassee in three weeks...:).

1) dive recovery person doesn't wear a seatbelt and lives in the "player's club".

As far as the seat belt goes, I havent been wearing it for years, my thoughts were always "if its your time to go, its your time to go". Well I thought that untill about a month and half ago, when I recovered a 20yo girl from drowning. She didnt know how to swim and wasnt wearing an pfd, if she had one on, she probably would have been fine:(
That got me thinking, the seat belt is the same idea...Now I wear the belt but its still a habbit Im having to form
As far as the players club, lol that was the name of it
SpeedTheory 08-02-2006, 09:23 PM On-Campus apt for the time being, saving some $. You autocross at all? It would be nice to have a fellow BMW guy to roll out to some of the Dixie SCCA events with after the new year, and your move down there. Looks like I'm running against a former national competitor in H-Stock for the next event I'm in :(.
IRoman 08-02-2006, 09:34 PM On-campus is still good, you will always be able to find a party, Im buying a place near Godby.
I have been wanting to do the autocross thing but I'm always busy with something plus the car needs a few things that I just havent gotten around too, I'll definetly want to when I get back to tally. I'll be glad to roll out to some stuff with you
SpeedTheory 08-02-2006, 11:46 PM Sounds good. I'm getting a few BMW guys together down there, but I mostly hang with VW and Miata guys, the rest of the car scene there outside of the auto-x's is awful.
