Er, ah... you can use a 3" section of wire and accomplish the same thing as the Stygar tool or the oil reset tool.

Bent coathanger works too...

It'll take you ten seconds. Just go do it.

so,

take a coat hanger wire, put one end in pin #7 in teh diagnostic port, then hold the other end on a metal grounding point?? and all while the key is in position 2 i think?

Yep. It's like 3 seconds for an oil reset and 7-10 for an Inspection reset.

Does anyone have the airbag light reset tool as well?

I tried the trick, I think I used a paper clip, could that be why it didn't work? I have never had a chance to reset it since I bought my car.

RRSperry: Would you be willing to let me use it, if I came up to where you are?

You probably didn't make a good connection. A piece of stranded copper wire works the best.

Oil reset tool is a bigtime waste of money.

Agreed, I just rigged up a 8 foot 12 guage wire, and grounded it out by the driver door so I could turn the key on and off by myself. I don't bother re-setting anymore since my dash looks like a x-mas tree anyway.
