Hey guys, I'm contemplating selling my car because I have my eye on another members car. :)

Here are the details...

VERY RARE 1997 M3 Sedan Dakar Gelb 40,000 miles, black interior with heated seats.... VIN WBSCD9325VEE06820

There is some paintwork on the driver side fender and I believe the hood from previous owner (who is a bimmerforums member). He claims it needed paint because it sat in a garage (was repossessed from a lady who couldn't make her payments) where cars were moved around often and it sustained some hits. The paintwork is actually very good. I didn't know it was painted when I bought it.

The exterior in my opinion is a 9/10.
The interior is also a 9/10.

*** I also have all the books with the case(manual, warranty cards, roadside assist cards etc.) and keys(2 masters one with light, 1 valet, and 1 wallet flat key) the car came with

I currently have on the car:

ASA AR1's in black. 18x9 all around with 10mm spacers all round. Toyo T1R's (best tire I have owned so far) 245/35/18's all round. (less than 4k miles on this setup)

JC shark injector

Koni Adjustable Shocks/Struts, H&R Sport Springs, Dinan Sway Bars, e46 m3 RSM's, and z3 reinforcement plates

Rogue transmission brace bushings

OEM 99 3 spoke steering wheel

OEM 99 power and heated vaders

OEM rear headrests

Garaged, waxed monthly, oil changes with mobil synthetic every 4,000 miles done by myself.

I used leatherique rejuvinator and cleaning oil on the interior every few months.

OEM e46 alluminum pedal set and M5 dead pedal

M5 lip spoiler

New Axxis Ultimate brake pads all around

Stellar BMWRTXC alarm

asking $19,000. No tire kickers please!

*I no longer have the ltws so don't ask. The car also does not have a spare tire.

I'm pretty sure the 97's had the new updated water pump...

The rear shock mounts are e46 m3 ones with z3 reinforcement plates.

There are also aftermarket tranny brace bushings on the car.

Is it just me or is the rear lip painted a different shade of yellow? And are you sure that's not off the E46 M3? It looks a tad too narrow to be off the E39.

Anyway, beautiful car and good luck with the sale!!

I think its just the camera thats throwing the color off. I'm pretty sure it's off the M5. Remember that a 4 door trunk is a different size than a coupe.

Bump for a beautiful car. I am the one who spotted the Paintwork on the car. I'd like to mention that it's cosmetic.. none of the panels have been changed and the car has not been wrecked. It's also paintwork to a very high standard and if Binh did not mention it, you most likely could not tell. Color match is damn near flawless. Before me and the ther Bill started Motorsport Recycling, I used to own new car dealerships and used to buy 80-100 cars a month, often and usually more. I'm pretty good at eyeballing bodywork :)

Binh's had his car over here at MSR several times, it's gorgeous and in very very nice condition. I haven't gone through it stem to stern, but this is, as best as I can tell, about the nicest M3/4 I know of in the area.

If anyone needs a spare for it I have one or two useful for spare 17" wheels lying around for $75 with tires on em.

Good luck with the sale! Whoever buys this is getting a super super nice car.

funny how now you claim is mint but refused to finish paying up for it...............

I really tought you were a stand up guy before our final transaction, and you even begged me to trust you and against my better judgement I did but you claimed that the car had been hit and that the panels were not original but know the truth comes out you POS!!!!!

Stop trashing my thread. I didn't "pay" for it. I traded my '03 landrover discovery for it. How is that selling it for more than I paid for it???????

You were selling it for 22,500 and I'm selling it for 19,000 with a few things added on. Uh, ok.

And when i got it, it had 31,XXX miles on it? I put less than 9k miles on it in one year and it was my daily driver.

I'm not trying to hide anything. Anyone who wants to come see the car can. It has been pointed out to me that OEM stickers for the panels are missing but on the other hand Wiseguy (bill) says they are still the originals.

Juan, you want to buy it back from me? I'll gladly give it back to you. Its in better condition now than when it was handed off to me.

This will be my last post in this thread because I don't need to waste my time with this. Anyone interested in seeing the car please email me and you can look over the entire car yourself.

when you got it it had 29xxx miles on it......and when you pay me what is owed I will never bother you or any of your threads......

how can it be in better condition since you have beat it up...vids out there to prove and you have abused it for a year......

there was nothing wrong with the car when I "gave" it to you......

but if you want return it I will give you back the discovery with 35k miles on it, fixed windshield, fixed gaskets, factory step boards, fixed passanger seat motors etc.................

Butterm3 is a stand up person. I bought a set of BBS's off him a few weeks ago, he let me come to his place and helped me change them, went around the block with me to make sure everything was just perfect, even before I had paid him. And the wheels were in damn near perfect shape, even waxed the the inside of them, no doubt about it that he takes care of his things.

dont know why everyone is trashing binh, ive known him for years and he has never done a shady thing since ive known him, a stand up guy who i would trust with my car for days and not worry. For those wondering on if he abuses his car he has never abused his car in any way other than driving it, never seen a burnout or donut or bouncing off the rev limiter. He is a standup guy like i said before, and this is coming from a guy not local to his hometown. I dont know what this is all about but if you think binh is ignoring you i doubt it, he is at the beach with no phone on the beach. Anyway this car is gorgeous and worth the money, he has spent a ton on it. -jason

dont know why everyone is trashing binh,

If he's a stand-up guy, why won't he pay butter the rest of the money he owes for the car?

He made a deal, then backed out on it.

Stand-up.

just spoke with binh and to the effect of that this is over an exhaust, which he agreed to return if he got an oem exhaust back which he never recieved so obviously he is not going to give an exhaust back without an oem one to put on? Juan your input as i am working on one side of the story. To that also why has it been a year and you have not gone to small claims court over this, i think this would be much easier than posting on everyone of his threads. I am trying to stay neutrel in this but in the same i am also trying to defend a friend of mine who has never done a shady thing in his life. Juan if this is over an exhaust isnt this easily resolved with a small claims court
