I finally sold my car. Now I have enough money for my dream car e46 M3. I am really happy and cant wait till I get it. I have some questions before buying one. Should i get SMG or 6 speed manual?? whats the advantage of SMG ? whats more fun to drive? and I am looking for black on black SMG and navigstion will this be too hard to find??? I am looking for 2002 and up what price should I expect? Thanks for any advice..

Congrats on your upcomming purchase! The 6spd is so much fun to drive, easy to learn fi you dont already know how. SMG is nice, if your trying to compare it with shift times, the SMG is way more consistent than a manual driver ever will be. Yours shouldnt be too hard to fine, although i would say skip stock nav and just get aftermarket. M3's with nav usually get a decent amount more. Depending on the miles and condiction will determine your price, if you find one around 50k miles with your preferences, expect to spend from 30-35 depending on year and other options/condiction. Ones with considerably less miles will bring in hight 30's-40's depending on the year. Good luck! Let us know when you find one!

The best way to to find out is to test drive both... see what you like... I always had manual cars before and worried a lot before making my description to by SMG. Now I am happy I went with SMG...
