One of my friends just got a white E90 325i, auto. I still dont like the exterior especially the tailights/trunk area in general and I think it needs bigger wheels but overall it looks better then in pictures. Interior is a lot different coming from my experience with my E36, no more driver oriented dash and some other small stuff but overall the interior is really nice, sound system sounded really good too, the only thing that I felt was weird was when I was in the backseat the window buttons seemed in a weird spot for your hands.

Anyways tonight he took me and a couple other friends out in it. It was ALOT faster then I expected, maybe just cause i drive a 325is, but we were goin between 100-120 alot and it felt safe and planted to the ground and ended up goin around 140 but it felt like we were going 80 or so from how smooth and quiet it was. Just thought I'd share my experience, this made me have more respect for the E90's despite the exterior, now I just need to go drive a 330....:buttrock

i got an E90 330i as a courtesy vehicle when they wre performing service on my M3ZCP... and yeah that car is amazing. i only got the auto but it is fast. 255Hp and easily faster than cars with more power, like the 260HP maxima, and the 280HP G35.

Makes you wonder if bmw competitors are inflating horsepower numbers in order to drive sales, or if bmw is just plain better. probably both.

I've always felt BMW's do more with their low power numbers than most others do with higher numbers, regardless of inflation.

I would like BMW to bring back the driver-oriented intereor, it was a great idea. I'm not a huge fan of the new e90 styling, but I've heard nothing but good things about the performance, ride, and handling. I can't wait to check out the 330 for myself.
