Hi everyone,

I wanted to do a coolant change on my 2000 e46 today.
Bought the blue coolant from our dealer ($25CAD).

I drained out the old stuff, to find that it was pink and not blue.
This was the factory fill since the guy I bought it from never changed the fluid since new. I read some bmw's used dex-cool?? hard to believe but I didn't chance it.

So Just a heads up to everyone in case you fall into my situation.

I totally drained the system and replaced it with new blue bmw coolant and deionized water, higher water ratio this time due to our super hot summer this year and will add more antifreeze ratio in the winter time.
