95325i 07-18-2006, 02:17 PM The 2 looks alot like the E90 in someways. I like it alot.
Hatchman 07-18-2006, 04:41 PM yea it looks like an attractive E90, I doubt it will happen but all in good fun
ryan_george 07-18-2006, 08:12 PM Needs a bit of work.
its like a light weight 3 series, just what i want, any idea how how much it would retail for
SR20Fastback 07-30-2006, 11:03 AM i liked the first one the best, the one with the longer trunk.
kendogg 08-02-2006, 11:48 PM I just pray that when we do get it, we get the diesel. I'm not buying one unless it is a 120d, I don't care what they do to it or what it costs. If it's a 120d, I'm buying, no questions asked.
BoneThug 08-03-2006, 07:39 PM id mortgage my house for that 2
SergeK 08-07-2006, 06:40 PM Best new BMW, IMO. I love it, totally love it.
E Dub 08-08-2006, 10:23 PM the 2 series is awesome
TheNorthWaves 08-08-2006, 11:05 PM i pray that they make it lightweight, with low amounts of electronics, a stick shift, and oversteer. Oh wait, I think I'm asking for an E30...
Jdizzle318 09-01-2006, 12:17 PM i would buy the 2series on a heart beat tha car looks clean :alright
eurocar328 09-16-2006, 03:19 PM First one is awesome. But is slightly too round on top like the 6 (no sunroof :( )and i think the widows shoulb be a bit bigger, like start a little further down because its really hard to see in an e90, but besides that.....wow hope it will be in the 25 and under range. The M version would be killer !!
Dwimmerlaik 10-02-2006, 07:06 PM I dont think the U.S. will ever get a 1 or 2 series car. I dont think BMW wants a repeat peformance with their reputation of what MB got with the C230.
io619 10-03-2006, 12:13 PM I'm liking the shorter trunk... almost a Hatch. I really like the lines. I don't like how car companies start out with a car in an appropriate size and then continue to get larger and larger... - C
Deutsch 10-26-2006, 08:36 PM Great looking! However, I doubt it'll be nearly as good when released.
1996 328ti 12-11-2006, 08:59 AM Bump for an old thread.
I wonder if the fact that the Euro is climbing in value compared to the US dollar, that this will make it cost prohibitive to bring a 1 into the US?

Doubt it. It's definitely coming. So says an insider and the CEO of BMW :D

Dwimmerlaik 12-15-2006, 02:43 PM I was just over in Germany (Berlin, Munich, and Heidelberg) in November, I fell in love with the 1 series 5 door hatchback diesel, I could totally see one of those being an awesome commuter/daily driver.
