Hi
My little 2.0l m20 needs some help.

I have a what i think you a nissan G20 (Or primera) Its got a SR20 in it. its very responsive, and revs out like a banchie.
Then i get into my 320/6 and realise how much it needs a little help.

It feels like it is choking on its own exhaust. so of course an exhaust is in order. Will E30 headers fit on it????

I am also looking to update to EFI. I was thinking about just robing a E30 of its mainfold, air flow meter, and all other things needed to do the job.
I was told by someone on the weekend that the m20 in a e30 has the dizzy in a different position and this position provides a better siginal. Is this true??? and also what is the difference in the e21 head to the e30 head.

I worked for a couple of years supplying Jap and American engine parts to reconditioners so have a clue about the ins and outs, but bmw is a new game to me so any help that can be given will help.
:redspot
I am thinking about upping the size, can i use my block and slip in a 2.3l or 2.5L crank and stroke her out, i am fond of this idea as i wish to keep the bay as std as i ca so the bastards at the inshurance company will find it hard to tell, while at the same time giving me more punch.

You can get headers from Ireland engineering they are for a e30 but will work. What you need is a 2.7 bottom end and your head. A 2.7 eta head is the same off a e30 325e a e30 325i 2.5 head has biger ports and chamber shape wont work . You could use the cis from a 323i and your dizzy. This will wake it up. I have a cis system for a 323i if your interested.
