View Full Version : looking into some 15" wheels
AE101 07-17-2006, 06:45 PM I am looking into a couple different sets of 15's. One of the sets is staggered 15x6 with ET33 in the front, and 15x7 with ET22 in the back. Could this work with jrcooks 3mm and 8mm spacers? 8mm in the front and 3mm in the back?I'm really not sure, it seems like it would be pretty close to fitting though...
Also if you could give me some info on what you are running for a 15" setup so i can see what works..
if you could tell me offsets, wheel width, spacer thickness (if you're using them), bolt length, tire size, and if you have any clearance issues.. Basically anything you can think of to give me an idea of what I can and cannot run for a setup. Thanks boies!

I have rolled my fender lips all around and are running 195 50 15 P7s. I am going with 205 50 15s soon, and maybe 215 50 15s in the rears.

Thanks, but my marhles are the rare stagered ones, I am going to get them restored this year with a polished lip and silver centers.
AE101 07-17-2006, 11:09 PM what's your opinion on the setup i stated in the first post.. think it will fit?
vtbimmer 07-17-2006, 11:15 PM I would think you would need bigger spacers.
Madhatter 07-17-2006, 11:16 PM Ive got 7's on mine with a higher offset and they fit on the back, so you probably wont even need spacers on the rear of yours. The front, however, could be an issue, backspace is going to be the determining factor, but you are right, you will probably need to space them out a couple mm.

thats what im thinking unfortunately.. for the front anyways.. at least 10 mm maybe 15mm spacers?

what are you using in the front for spacers?
Madhatter 07-18-2006, 02:08 AM im not yet, i havent had to turn it sharp enough to hit the tie rod :D
Im tossing up whether to use 20mm bolt on spacers, or just the 8-10mm spacers i need and use 8mm longer wheel bolts.
