do you have to pay the 250 to go? or can you just go and hang out?

Go to: BMWCCA.org. It's whole event or ala-carte, from what I have gathered. Lake Michigan beaches (about 40 minutes away) DO rule as far as Midwest stuff. I can't believe they didn't put together a drive to THE lake--especially as Gingerman Raceway is right on top of it.

There will be a bunch of us going this year as we do every year.

The problem is that most of the young people on this board somehow feel intimidated by the "older people" and don't want to hang out for the social events where the average age runs from 35 to 70. If you like BMW's and want to meet some of the people who are the most fanatic about them, you will be attending and making a lot of new friends (or seeing old friends). All it takes is wanting to find and meet these people and O'Fest is one of the best places to do that. My wife even puts it on the calendar a year in advance so it is not just about the cars.

Ill be representing the 20-23 age group this year. I went in 2002 as well, its just so much fun you have to go again.
